I've run out of ideas on this one.
I have excel files that were originally generated by a Crystal Info Server. Most workstations on the network (150) can open the files without problems. My workstation (Windows XP Professional, Office 2000) and at least 1 other (Windows 2000, Office 2000) can't open some files but can open others (in the same directory). Even logged onto my workstation as "administrator" I get the same results. If I log on to another workstation I have no problems. Symptoms when I try to open one of the offending files are that excel is launched, but no spreadsheet is presented. There are no error messages, and no entry in any log file.
HELP !
