I am getting an error message "variable xlvalue is not found" when I run the program in the attached file.

If I remove the section of the code with the comment, the graph is produced correctly.

Any help is resolving this will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

ps: this is my first time posting. If I made any mistakes please let me know,

"If I remove the section of the code with the comment, the graph is produced correctly."

If that is the case, then what is the question?
You say that the graph is produced correctly.

Good Luck,
JRB-Bldr

The graph produces correctly but it does not have the y-axis title. What do i have to do the change the code so the y-axis title appears on the graph?

Nobody here has access to your local hard drive (c:\apps\pci\devel\accts90\test.prg)

Find a host for the file, and link to that.

Even without a look at your code: "xlvalue" may be a variable needed and set to some text, the caption of the y axis perhaps.

On the other side xl indicates it is an excel constant and is not defined, therefore the error "variable not found", as foxpro can in no way guess if what is missing is a constant, variable or field name. All three have a name by which they can be adressed.

So looking up "#define xlvalue" with google I find it would be 2. The missing constant indicates there is some #include or a section of defines missing from your code or the #include is there, but the -h file which should be included is missing.

Bye, Olaf.

Thanks Olaf,

After adding #define xlvalue 2 to my code it worked perfectly.

Just want to say that while attaching a file here is useful for pictures, it's better to just paste code into your message. Personally, I won't be opening PRG files attached to a post unless they're from someone I know very well.
