Excel Automated refresh 1

Hellos,
I have an excel file(Fred.xlxs) that picks data from msacces(fred.accdb). I want the excel file to refresh and save without open every after 1 hour. Can anyone help me with this.

If you want Fred.xlxs to have up-to-date data from fred.accdb (when it is needed), refresh the data when your Excel file is open.

"want the excel file to refresh and save without open every after 1 hour" - so you want to update your file every hour even if nobody ever looks at it. Why?
If nobody opens this file for 2 weeks, your approach is to refresh the data 2 x 7 x 24 = 336 times ?

Your advice was the gem:

If you want Fred.xlxs to have up-to-date data from fred.accdb (when it is needed), refresh the data when your Excel file is open.

I would just add for emphasis that MS Query has a setting to refresh on open.

Thanks Andrzejek and the rest.
It's because the excel file is linked to Google Sheets and if its not automatically refreshing then the google sheets file has no new data.
