Excel as datasource for ReportNet

Hi,
Can anyone please let me know how to use an excel file as datasource for ReportNet report...?
I have created a system DSN pointing to the excel file on the ReportNet server.
But, I am not able to see it in Cognos Connection while creating the datasource.

Please let me know if have missed something...
