Hi All,

Quick question to the realm, in Excel 97 and 2000, how can I get my column headings to repeat on every page. I have gone into Page Setup, Sheet and set it there and it prints them out on every page, but I want to see them on every page when I am scrolling down a 50 page worksheet before printing, without forgetting what column I am in. I hope this makes sense. Is there any way to do so. I have seen the end result, but have no idea on how to get there.

Any and all help would be greatly apreciated.

Thanks in advance

Lou

Basically, you don't put them on every page for viewing. You lock the first row so that when you're viewing say, rows 50 through 80, you see the rows in this order:

1
50
51
52

Rule: Everything above the selected cell and everything to the left of the selected cell will freeze.

To freeze just Row 1 and not any columns, select cell A2 and hit Window-Freeze panes. :)

Thanks Dreamboat,

This does do the trick. However, what if I did want to see it on every page as I scroll instead of locking the top row? Is this my only option?

Thanks in advance,

Lou
