Is it possible to use Visual Basic to insert HTML code?

What I am trying to do is as follows.
I have an Excel sheet that I save as a web page. I have changed some of the HTML code for this web page so that the excel web page refresh's itself after 60s. To save me going back into excel I wanted to load an xls file of the webpage in Internet Explorer, so I placed a button on the Excel page that saved the sheet as a webpage and then a xls file. This meant that I could load the xls file up in explorer from any machine in the office to make the changes and then hit the save button and it would save it as a webpage for everbody to see.

THe problem is as soon as you save the file as a xls file it does not save any of the changes you have done to the HTML code so the webpage does not refresh

Is there anyway that with VB I can insert this HTML code back in before I save it?
