Does anyone know a cheap / free alternative to Excel/spreadsheet that will accept > 65,536 rows of data.

I know new versions of Excel accept more rows of data, to be honest all I need is a cost effctive way to import > 65,536 data without the added features.

Thanks in advance,

Leigh

Don't know what it's limitations are, but you might try OpenOffice.

Open Office Calc (their spreadsheet application) is limited to 65,536 rows.

Quite a long time corel claimed that quattro pro spreadsheet in wordperfect office suite had milion rows.
You can consider a true database programme for storing and analysing data, use excel for extracted sets of data only.

What about an Access table?

When I have tables exceeding Excel limits, I load into MS Access, using Excel as mu front end and for data analysis.
