Excel - Add defualt text message to blanks cells?

Hi, (Excel 2007)
I need to add a message to any blank cells in a table. How can I do this? The message would be "Awaiting a response"

Are these empty cells complete rows, or a smattering of empty cells needing an value to go along with other existing values in a row?

Hi, they are throughout a table (your second question/answer). If a cell is blank we need to add a disclaimer kind of remark. There is never a time the whole row or column will be blank in the table. The table is not terribly big.

How will this data resolve?

How would the presence of some specific string be any more definitive than the total absence of information?

Please list the Data Types of the fields that this action would effect.

Please answer each of these questions and supply the data requested.
