Excel 97 Password

How can I open an Excel 97 password protected file if I have forgotten the password?
 
There's freeware out there, not sure how it works. Try cnet.downloads.com for the download.
 
If you are talking about a worksheet in a workbook that is protected:<br>
<br>
Highlight the whole sheet by clicking on the upper left cornor. Press Ctl-C to copy the sheet. Insert a blank sheet if you don't already have one in the workbook. Click on cell A1 in the blank sheet. Press Ctl-V to paste the copied sheet. You should now have an unporotected version of the original sheet.<br>
