I created an excel macro in Excel 2000. It needs to be run under Excel 97. The macro works fine, up until it encounters the functions Left, Right or LCase (Probably the other string functions too).
Is there a reason why this does not work on Excel 97, when it works perfectly on 2000? Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Any help appreciated,

Ben Longden.

Probably got something to do with referecnes. Go to the VBE, Click Tools/References and make sure all the references are there. I'm not sure about Excel, but sometimes the ones that are missing are greyed out or will say missing. Tyrone Lumley
