hi,
I've got a couple of users on a vpn link, who use a realy basic pinting to two printers macro in excel97 which is more or less as follows:
Application.ActivePrinter = "colour on \\NTSERVER\colour"
ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.PrintOut From:=3, To:=3, Copies:=1, _
ActivePrinter:="colour on \\NTSERVER\colour", Collate:=True
Application.ActivePrinter = "Lexmark Optra Ep on \\Mike\lexmark"
ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.PrintOut From:=2, To:=2, Copies:=1, _
ActivePrinter:="Lexmark Optra Ep on \\Mike\lexmark", Collate:=True
End Sub
it's used about 20 times a day and once or twice each day will give the run-time error 6 overflow error message and debug will highlight the first line the macro and excel will crash out. It seems to be only since a couple of shortcuts to data worksheets have been added to the xlstart folder (these sheets are used as lookup sheets by the one being printed) but this shouldnt affect the macro should it?
Thanks Geoff
