Excel 97 AutoOpens upon PC startup

When one of our users turns on her PC or reboots it, a blank Excel workbook opens and then closes automatically about 15 seconds later. There is no toolbar on the worksheet. It is blank, called Book 1.

I have checked everything I can think of. There is nothing in the startup folder, nothing in task scheduler, nothing in the registry that would cause this. Any ideas? I even looked for some sort of auto start macro in Excel. Nothing that I could find.
 
Hi,

Have you tried going to Start, Run, MSCONFIG and looking in the startup tab for the offending item?

If nothing there then I would advise checking the machine for signs of a virus. Not being a scaremonger but you can't be too careful.
