EXcel 97 and Windows NT 4

I am experiencing a problem with Excel 97 opening and closing files VERY slowly when on an NT 4 machine.<br>Does anyone know of this bug and how to solve it.<br>Thanks<br>

No its not a bug<br>How its resources <br>what are your's?<br>Memory, Hardrive Free space<br>Are you connected to a network with Novell and NT server?

Go to Tools-Addins. If you have alot of those selected, just deselect them until you need to use them again.
