I haven't noticed anything yet personally nor come across anything online that bothers me so far, but I thought I'd ask here in case any of you have run across issues.

We're about to be (to the best of my knowledge) purchasing about 30 computers, and going ahead with the latest software on these specific machines (Windows 10 / Office 2016). When this is done, we will be replacing mainly computers running Windows XP / Office 2007.

Has anyone here run into any major issues, perhaps with formulas or VBA in moving the same files from Office 2007 to Office 2016? Some of our current excel files are still in the .xls format, but a few have finally made it to .xlsx format.

I thought it'd be good to plan ahead as best I can to see if there are any changes that will be necessary before the new machines go into use.

So far, we have only come across issues with Outlook.
For some reason, Outlook 2016 likes to insist it were currently on a "metered connection" and an ostensible "Upgrade in process", which can cause connection/sync issues with Exchange and problems when sending emails.

There is a suggested fix here but I haven't tried it yet:

"Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family." (Kofi Annan)
Oppose SOPA, PIPA, ACTA; measures to curb freedom of information under whatever name whatsoever.

Sounds lovely. Maybe we won't run into that issue, since we don't (so far) use Exchange, but do use Outlook.
