Hello

I have the following data from a 3rd party source which is pasted into Excel:

600 £6,270.23
610 £-
611 £-
780 £-
755 £-
608 £27.83
801 £-
541 £9.00
652 £1.25
706 £132.16
700 £-

The values can vary each week. As you can see some are £-. What I want to do is remove the lines with £- (there is usually around 60 lines of data in this worksheet).

I'm not sure if it can be done with a simple macro or not. I can't search for 0 because it picks out every 0 rather than a single value of 0.

thanks

hi,,
Turn on your AutoFilter and use to display the rows that contain whatever character(s).

Then SELECT those ROWS and right-click > DELETE

Now why didn't I think of that earlier?

Thank you very much.
