Good afternoon, is it possible to create a calculated field in a Pivot Table from a column that is using a MAX value of a date?

Basically we have data for people who have attended on more than one occasion and I have a pivot field that shows the MAX of all their attended dates. We also have the date when they started. What I want to do is calculate the difference in days.

Additionally it would put a cherry on top if I could calculate the date diffrence between now and when they started if they have nothing in their completed field.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Many thanks,

Hi Skip, on another worksheet.

Is it not possible to perform such calculations in that source table?

You might even use a query, rather than a PT.

Hmm, I was wondering along the same lines. I'll give it a go on Monday. Thanks.

Have a nice weekend.

I had all the unique record identifiers sorted in column "C", with the episode start date in column D and each activity date in column I. Some of the unique records have started more than one episode and some have a episode closed date, but not all of them. This did for a start:-

=IF(C2<>C3,I2-D2,"")

Many thanks,
