Hi,

I am having problems with conditional formatting in Excel 2010. I want the format of a cell (column B) to change based on the value in column A.

In column B, I am using the Conditional Formatting / New Rule / Formula to determine which cells to format option, and inserted the formula =a1="Yes", and amended the format to show the value in column B as bold if the result was true.

However nothing seems to happen when I have Yes in column A. I have also tried it with numbers in column A instead of Yes, but still nothing happens.

Has anyone got any suggestions please?
