Excel 2007

Can anyone help?

I have both Excel 2007 and 2003 on my machine but as a default I want 2007 to load up any saved documents even if they have been saved in Excel 2003.
I have the Microsoft Compatibility pack already on my machine.

Is this possible and can anybody advise on how to make this happen?

Hi there,

Welcome to tek-tips.

I don't run both versions on my machine...but you might be able to go to Control Panel, Folder Options, File Types.

Scroll down to XLS files and set Excel 2007 to open them.
