Excel 2007 Workaround: opening WKS documents

If you have trouble opening a WKS spreadsheet in Excel 2007, try this workaround to at least read in the file.

Open Excel 2007
Select - Data
Select - From Other Sources
Select - From xml Data Import
Locate and select your WKS document
Click open
Select – existing worksheet
