Hi all,
I posted this question in the Microsoft community in case it was a bug ...
if I send an xlsb workbook ( Binary ) by using the Send To function the resulting attached workbook seems to be converted to Compatibilty mode ( xls ), BUT the extension of the attached workbook remains as xlsb, resulting in
the fact that people can't open it directly. ( it's Outlook by the way )
Apparently this doesn't happen to other people ( Ron De Bruin tried it on his machine with no problem ).
So, it sounds like a settings problem. Does anyone have any idea about which settings I have to change to get this working? I don't need a workaround, I need a solution, as this has to be applied to all Excel 2007 machines in the company where I'm working.
Cheers, Glenn.
Did you hear about the literalist show-jumper? He broke his nose jumping against the clock.
