In 2003, I could right-click in the table and select the PT Wizard, hit the [BACK] button and see the source data range. At that point I can CHANGE the source data range, for instance, if I have added a column to my source data.

How do you change the source data range or a PT, in 2007?

I found an icon to Change Data Source.

Easiest ways for everything of that sort, in 2007, are typically located in the ribbon. In order to see the tools/options for a particular pivot table or any other data table/source, you have to have a cell within that region selected, and then it's options will show up (if they are extra, not in the basic tabs).

For instance, on a pivot table, you click inside the pivot table to select it, then you'll see the Pivot Table Tools... Options and Design tabs.

On the Options tab, there you'll see the Change Data Source, about the middle of the ribbon, within the subsection labled "Data"

Steve,

There is is! I had not noticed that the Options and Design tabs poped up in context. New vistas, no pun intended, as I am currently running XP.

Thanx!

;p

Yeah, at first, it's a pain finding all the stuff you need for work, but the more you use it, the more you'll start figuring out where stuff is, even if you didn't already see it. The ribbon actually seems to make sense (mostly) after a while. I would have never believed it when I first used it.
