I am asking this for my daughter who just got a job at an office who uses nothing but Mac's and she is trying to figure out how, if possible to sort her worksheets in alphabetical order without having to manually move them.

Now I have an addin that allows me to do this but its not compatible with a MAC, so.... I ask you, having no knowledge of Office/Excel on a Macintosh computer.... is there a way other than manually dragging the sheets?

Thanks in advance....

hi,

Does Office Mac (thot that was cute) have the feature to right click on the sheet navigation controls to display a pop-up sheet list? That list will be in alpha order. IMHO, it is much easier than scrolling across the sheet tabs.

That list will be in alpha order
The list is NOT in alpha order on my Excel 2010.

If she can record a macro, she should be able to modify it to re-order the sheets in any way she wants to. That will require some code manipulations

Have fun.

Andy, I was wrong!

The list is in order by tab position.

Well, 'record a macro' is out of the question.... I have no clue how to show her how to do that on a PC (She'd freak) must less trying to tackle it on a Mac... I have not even seen it on a mac.

But thanks Andrzejek....
Skip I'll ask her.... I know about the right click thing... will see if that's possible onna Mac

Thanks Skip for reminding me of something I already knew.. yep I already knew it, go figure.
I called her and using the right click is just what will fit the bill....

Once again, SUCCESS! <slapping self upside the head> I shoulda thunk it! :)
