HI All,

I have a simple excel 2007 file consisting of one sheet with 7 columns,

I have a SQL 2008 server with a database with a corresponding table, and field.

From excel how can I export the data into SQL.

I need a user to be able to click a button to upload the info to the database which we use to populate a web page.

Any Help would be great

Look into using MS Query possibly, or else in VBA, you can set up the right data connections, and run the SQL code from there. Then create a button running said code.

For info on all the various connections, there's the site, that has lots of info.

Sorry that I've not given too much detailed info. I've not had a need to set things up in this manner, myself, to date. I'd LIKE to set it up this way, but just no specific need for it.

Do you know how to code an UPDATE query?

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]
