Hi,

As a recently migrated Excel user, I am now "with it" and enjoying the improvements to Excel 2007.

The conditional formatting options and "icon sets" are great but typically, I want to push them one step further...

Does anybody know if it is possible to add your own icon sets?

For example, the "down arrow" is red, I would actually like a green down arrow.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Many thanks.

No, you can't do that, according to the MSDN article, misleadingly entitled "Conditional Formatting: Adding Customized Icon Sets to Excel 2007":

I'd suggest using color scales, and alter the min colour to green and the max colour to red, to give the same indication of green for low.

Cheers, Glenn.

Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.
