First of all, my apologies if this is a repeat question but I wasn't able to locate what I'm trying to do. I have a list of financial data which lists, among other things, days delinquent. What I am trying to do is group those by 0-25 days, 26-50 days, 51-75 days. 76-100 days, and 100 + days. What is the best way to go about it? The other functions I want to do can be completed with a pivot table. Exel 2010. Thank you in advance for your help!

hi,

many of us cannot download data due to company security restrictions. Please post all example data here directly.

Your issue can be done IN your Pivot Table using the GROUP feature.

This data sample only goes to 13 days delinquent, but I think it shows what I have to work with. Let me know if you need more info.

Did you try the suggestion I made? You made no mention of it.

That is moving me in the right direction. Let me play with it a little bit. Thanks for your gelp, Skip!!

You didn't gelp me, you helped me. . . . .

When you're standing on the edge of a cliff, a step forward is not progress.

OK, so that has me about 95% there. In using the Group function, the first group (0-25 days) is 26 increments. The remainder are then grouped in increments of 26 as well, but they need to be in increments of 25 (26-50 days, etc.). Did I miss something?

When you're standing on the edge of a cliff, a step forward is not progress.

There are TWO properties to assign.

1) the STARTING value and

2) the BY value.

I see that you have BOTH incorrectly assigned.
