Hi All,

new to Excel 2007 so probably an easy one. I have 4 columns of data and in each one of the 4 I want 3 radio buttons saying "ACK" and "REJ" and "UNK". I can create the first 3 fine and only one can be highlighted at any one time. However, how do I create another set of 3 on the same sheet that only one of the 3 can be highlighted. I created 6 altogether (3 for each of 2 columns) but it only let's me highlight 1 of the 6. I created them using developer tab then form control, radio button Icon etc. I tried highlighting the first 3 and grouping them, then the second 3 and grouping them, but all 6 still seem to be linked in some way.

Any help appreciated,

TIA,

M.

Hi,

I know that in previous versions there was a GROUP control that, well, er, grouped the option button controls.

for a NUANCE![tongue]

First, enable the Developer tab

Go to Office Button > Excel Options > Popular > Show Developer tab in the Ribbon

Now, go to Developer > Controls > Insert

Thanks guys,

I have done the developer tab bit already and the grouped bit. If I was fuzzy in the original post, here is what I have done EXACTLY.

1. Created the first 3 buttons - works fine.
2. Grouped the first 3 buttons - works fine.
3. Created second lot of 3 buttons
4. Grouped second lot of 3 buttons

Thing is, it will only allow me to check one of the 6 buttons. I want to have a set of 3 and a set of 3. done 2 groupings, first 3 and 2nd 3, but it seems to keep them ALL linked somehow.
