Hello,

We have several workbooks that have multiple worksheets that are created by copying other worksheets and modifying the data. All formatting and formulas copy fine, but the pre-set sorting levels set on the copied worksheet do not transfer to the new worksheet. Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you.

This whole thing sounds inefficient and I'd urge you to find a better process, but to answer your question: Don't select the data, copy, then paste.

Instead, Right Click on the sheet tab and select Move or Copy. In the To book section, select whatever workbook you want or you can select new book to have a new workbook created. In the Before sheet box, you can choose where the sheet will be inserted. Check the box beside Create Copy.

Sort preferences will remain with the sheet.
