I have some entries that need to show $0.00, but Excel auto formats and changes the value to $ - .

I checked the help files, and it told me to go to Tools - Options - View and check zero values. Unfortunately, I already have this option checked, and it still will not show my zero dollar amount. What am I missing? Thanks.

Hi,

Change the format from ACCOUNTING to CURRENCY.

for a NUANCE![tongue]

change format to:

$0.00;-$0.00;$0.00

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
