Excel 2003 Smart Tags 1

Could anyone please tell me how to get rid of the smart tags in Excel 2003. I have gone to Tools-AutoCorrect Options-Smart Tags tab and unchecked all the appropriate boxes, but still get the darn things. Thanks in Advance!!

You can prevent the smart tags appering on your data:
Goto Tools - AutoCorrect Options - Smart Tags

- Uncheck the 'Label Data...'
and
- Select 'None' for 'Show smart tags as'
- Say 'OK' and get rid from smart tags.

I suspect what you are referring to are not Smart tags at all - and, some at least, of them you can't get rid of. Could you be more specific about what you want - what the 'smart tags' are.
