excel 2003 list vrs 2007 ????

In Excel 2003 I click Data menu then the List menu then create list
and when I need to make a major change I right click in the middle of the list then click "convert to range" fix whatever...
then I hightlight the new list area and follow the first steps again making a new list.

BUT in 2007 it's not the same at all. you have to do table or something.
can some give me a strep by step procedure
to do both steps in 2007? make a list and then undo it.

Hi,

In 2007...

Insert > Table

creates a table (list) with LOTS more features.

When you SELECT in the Table, a Table Tool-DESIGN tab opens.
