Excel 2003 through Terminal Services on Windows 2003 Server.
User works on a file (on and off all day), saves it frequently, it does not return an error and seems like it has saved successfully. User returns the next morning to find that the file exists but it empty. This happens intermittently and has happened to 2 different users, satisfying me that this is not user error. There is nothing in the application log or system log to indicate a problem or a crash. I have saved the file while having Filemon running and it writes to the filesystem successfully (but like I mentioned this is an intermittent problem and possibly not occuring at the time of monitoring).
Has anyone encountered anything similar to this in the past? Anyone have any ideas as to why this is occurring?
Thanks in advance for any help & assistance,
Dominic
