EXCEL 2003 - Data Validation

I have an Excel Document that has to cells that use Data Validation. The first cell looks up a list of categories and the second is dependent on the first and brings up a list of vendors for the category. I have gotten this to work perfectly. The question I have is how do you make the dependent box blank when the first box's cateogry is changed. If anyone know please help.

Hi there,

To do this automatically, you'll need VBA. You can't change a cell from another cell (wihtout formulas) unless you use VBA. You should post in the forum707 for that though.
