Excel 2003 copied charts object properties change with pivot refresh

A summary file containing many linked charts and pivots to external sources (other spreadsheets & databases) - when any pivot is refreshed the chart colors and weights change. The charts and pivots are not related to one another in any way.

Any thoughts on how to prevent my chart properties from changing?

Hi,

Turn on your macro recorder and record formatting your chart as desired.

Then run the recorded macro after the refresh of the PT.
