Excel 2003 - Auto refresh pivot table in shared workbook

Is there any way that i can invoke an automatic refresh of pivot table data in a shared workbook. I am aware that certain functions do not work in a shared workbook - this being one of them - but is there a way round it?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Not as far as I know. You are aware of the limitations ... find another way to do what you want.
