In the pivot tables that we use, we want to hide a certain number of items.
In excel 97, by choosing which items to hide from the pivot table field, we can dynamically see if there are any new items showing up in the pivot table.
However, the problem occur in excel 2002. The pivot tables only show the items that are pre-defined. This way, we would NOT know if there were new items because the pivot tables only know to show the pre-defined item, which is the opposite mechanism of hiding item. Does anyone know of ways of changing the "show" to "hide" property or how to work around this difference??
Thank you very much for helping!!
