I can't figure out why my Excel 2000 user settings keep changing. I set up my toolbars the way I like them and in the position I want them. I also set the recently used file list to 9. But whenever I close down Excel and reopen it, all the settings are back the way they were (default setttings). Does anyone know what is going on here? I have already reinstalled Office 2000.

Maybe you can delete or rename registry key, under ;
HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Excel
(to open Registry, type "Regedit" in Run)
Change the Excel key or Delete.

and also Rename or delete ; C:\Documents and settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel(in Windows 2000).

Let me know the result.
