Hello,

I'm not familiar with EXCEL. Can anyone help me with the following questions?

1. If I use EXCEL 2000 to design an application then send
a .exe file to my customers. If it is a matter that my
customers have EXCEL 2000 or EXCEL 97, or even they
don't even have EXCEL?

2. How to read the data row by row in EXCEL?

3. How to write the data into a .txt file (like TextPad)?

Thanks a lot for your time. Any help on these questions is highly appreciated.

Excel does not create .EXE files, it creates .XLS files. If you send a .XLS file to someone who does NOT have Excel, they will not be able to open it or change it. In MOST cases, they can open it or change it if they have Excel 97 or 2000. They can view it using the Excel 97/2000 viewer available at
2. How to read the data row by row in EXCEL?

I don't understand the question. Read it with what?

3. How to write the data into a .txt file (like TextPad)?

I have never heard of TextPad but have heard of NotePad. Generally, you can save an Excel file as a .TXT file.

Hope this helps.
