When opening a file I rec'd the msg. "file in use-locked for editing." The file was able to be opened by selecting view only. In Excel when executing the command "File-Page Set Up-One to One", an illegal operation error occured with the message "Excel caused an exception 10h in module Excel.exe at 018f:3006f0d3." I am running Windows 2000 with Excel 2000.

Are these two questions or just one?

As far as page setup goes, did this work before and is not working now? In that case I would try re-installing the printer.

Do you know if the printer is using PCL printing language?

Sorry. I guess it is 2-part. 1. What causes the msg. "file in use. locked for editing" when opening a file on a network. And 2. What can I do to troubleshoot the error, "Excel caused an exception 10h in module Excel.exe at 018f:3006f0d3."? I believe the printer is pcl language. And yes page setup did work before. I can try relaoding the printer. In asking the two questions together I guess I was wondering if the first file error had anything to do with the Excel error.
