I have an excel file that when opened on one particular desktop has columns added in random locations with a width over 400. When the file is opened on any other computer the column width is correct throughout the file. Does any one have any idea why this is happening? Thanks.

Excel 2000-colum width changed

On the "bad" PC, close Excel and see if there's any files in the XLSTART folder. Remove any files from there (at least temporarily) and see if it still happens. Brainbench MVP for Microsoft Word
