Exceed 8.0 to Solaris - get active desktop

Seems like I've searched news groups for hours trying to find this info.

I have Exceed 8 and want to connect to Solaris 2.6.

The Solaris box sits in a server room and constantly runs HP openview (which is used to log events, and configure
network devices).

Is it possible to use Exceed to connect and retrieve the desktop (CDE) that is running locally (much like PCAnywhere connects in and takes over the active desktop).

I am able to get Exceed to connect up and get a CDE login screen, but I need to see (and control) and is being displayed on the local Sun box.

Note: Both are on a private lan, not accessible to the Interet.
