Example web.xml file with BASIC authentication for Tomcat 5.5

Would it be possible to have a very basic example of a webapps web.xml that uses the default userdatabase defined in Tomcat 5.5 server.xml file?

I inherited a simple intranet site (not my choice) that a coworker put together and just left.

All it needs a very simple authentication with two accounts. Nothing special.

I would love to dive into Tomcats manuals and FAQ's and tie this into a Mysql DB, but this system (Management again) demands it be secure within 48 hours.. *sigh*
