Hello....
I have an Exabyte 220 auto-loader with 2 internal Mammoth-2 drives. I need to upgrade the drive firmware on the drives but I am encountering an error when doing so. I am using the M2 Monitor (v 1.5) program to connect to the drives and am able to do so w/o any error. When I try to 'Load Code' and select the downloaded firmware, the drive goes into a boot mode with the following message returned to the M2 Monitor interface: "Connected to Drive (BOOT)" after displaying a "Disconnecting" message. I have to reset the drive before I am able to re-connect to it properly. Once I am reconnected, I can select the 'Write Dump' option and get a dump from the drive. My question is why is the drive freaking out when I try to load code???
thanks .... Brantley
