Ex2K to Ex2K3 Migration

Hi all,

I'm planning a Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 upgrade/migration. I have 4 servers, 3 of which are DC's (I didn't set this up!) one of which is the Exchange 2000 server.

I have a brand new box with Windows 2003 Server on it. My plan is to get rid of the Exchange 2000 box completly. Can anyone advise the best course of action to do this? Any documentation anywhere? Can't seem to find much about replacing a machine with 2003?

Add the new exchange 2003 server to your existing 2000 Org, them movemailbox. You can use pfmigrate to migrate the public folders. Finally, back out the E2K server per:

It's a relatively simple process thatdoesn't involve a lot of pain.
