i'm trying to figure out which script under EVM keeps sending email if it encountered a problem? (it's sending to my ex-officemate).

basically, he's receiving it in his exchange email address (not the Unix box).

any suggestions where it might be?

Check out man-page for evmlogger and evmlogger.conf. You will probably find the email-address under section forward.

i can't see any email-address under /etc/evmlogger.conf. here's what i got:

# This evmshow command writes a subject line as the first line of
# output, followed by a detailed display of the contents of the event.
# The resulting message is distributed by mail(1).
command "evmshow -d -t 'Subject: EVM ALERT [@priority]: @@' | mail root"
