everythnig is big and hardly no color/pixel arrow will not move....

i have a compaq presario 5000 which was just worked on a week ago ...... the guy took everything that i had for ME and change it all to 98.... since then everything is huge and the color sucks... ive gone to the settings and try to move the arrow for the pixels but it wont budge... i know what the problem is that i dont have the right setting for the color but i dont know how to fix it or how much color setting i need...please help my son i driving me crazy...........wickitwitch!!!!!!

Without doubt, what you are seeing is the standard Windows VGA driver which is just to get the system off the ground or for running Windows in Safe Mode.

You need to download the corrct driver for your graphics from the vendor's support site on the Internet. Then you will be able to switch to 24-bit colour at a higher resolution.

The guy" hasn't installed your graphics card drivers! so the system is displaying in default VGA mode.
