Everything works but smtp???

Hello,
everything is working fine (http, ftp, via firewall client and proxy), but smtp! Protocol Filters for smtp are open. I have enabled Packet Filters, 110, 25 are permitted. What can io check??

check for socket pooling TCP 0.0.0.0:25. You'll have to disable socket pooling.


netstat –na | find ":25"

if this is the case use mdutil (option pack)

net stop smtpsvc
mdutil set -path smtpsvc/1 -value 1 -dtype 1 -prop 1029 -attrib 1

if not that.... most likely DNS issue. jack your logging up
