700505424 9608G GLOBAL 9608GD03A Must use SIP 6.3.1.13 or later, or H.323 6.3.1.16 or later.
9608GD03B Must use SIP 7.0.1.0.46 or later, or H.323 6.6.2.29 or later.

This is just an FYI

Above shows the newer 9608G phones marked 9608GD03B. Phones will not load your SIP files 46xxsetting if you have System manager 7.0 or lower Some phones will not even take the Craft input. I believe you will need to modify the 46xx setting to get them to work but why go thru all that when you can ask your vendor to make sure the phones they send are 9608GD03A phones. I got caught with this and the vender was gracious enough to replace all the units with A phones. Just trying to save someone a Headache wondering why their phones wont load the setting file.[ponder]

I just added a ticket to see what the difference is and will update this thread with the answer soon as they get back to me.[smile]

Must use 7.0.1...." refers to set firmware, not core system loads. You can have a release 7 phone on SM/SMGR 6.3. Yes, it's a pain to manage if you have a specific need for older set firmware, but it's not like they're unusable.
