We have been using ArcServe 2000 since 2000 and after a lot of tweaking, A LOT, we finally got it working well enough that 90-95% of the nightly backups were successful. Now our NA decides to fix a non-broken problem by upgrading to BrightStor ArcServe 9. I guess they changed the name so that they had nothing to compare it to. Now every job is failing. We didn't create new jobs, just left the old ones in their previous locations. All open file agents and backup agents on each server have been updated as well (as far as I know). When reviewing the log, all appears to be backed up successfully, it takes its normal time to complete, and the usual files (BAOF logs) are missing and produce warnings. Each time it appears 3 files are missing, perhaps there's a threshold between incomplete and failed? I can email anybody a log if that helps. Bill Zielinski
