If you're not on a network then it can't be trying to point to something external. Can be from a failed install of something, where it was intending to create a directory but failed. Seems to be a registry error of some sort, but correction will require more info than is available now. Time for you to start writing down file names , folder names, and exact error message. Will also need some details of what OS and programs. Several people in the forum have more experience than me with registry ops and I am sure one of them will pick up on this. Ed Fair
