I have spent many hours over the course of my last few projects tracking down errors that were caused because I misunderstood when and in which order the events for a control or form fire. The Access help gives good information when I look up a specific event, but the problem is often that I'm trying to decide which event to use, and looking up each individual event is rather cumbersome.

Can anybody recommend a book, website, or other reference that will help guide me in choosing and debugging my form events?

Thank you for any suggestions.

Many books will have the info, but how much do you want to spend?

Access97: search the help file for 'events' - 'order of events'

Access 2K: Programming Information - Working with Events - When events occur - find out when events occur.

It looks like what you're looking for...

Good luck
